At the top of KSEE (Fresno) Chief Meteorologist A.J. Fox’s page he boast that he is the most accurate Met in Fresno for the past 11 years.

As record heat moved into Fresno, sending temps to over 110 degrees, a check of Fox’s social media shows he is enjoying an Alaskan cruise.

I understand he’s on vacation, but I couldn’t write a quick post about the dangerous heat; it's been that hard to do.

Viewers might be logging on to see what the “most accurate” forecaster has to say about the heat, and they get a guy drinking coffee on a cruise ship.

I see Mets posting all the time on their days off when dangerous weather moves into the area. I guess I would have expected the “most accurate” forecaster to give viewers some information they could use.

By the way, the other chief Mets in town posted about the heat on their days off.

Oh! And so did KSEE’s Monday through Friday AM Weatherman.
