Buyouts at The Firm in Atlanta

Word is that Fox O&O WAGA is shedding some longtime employees by using buyouts.

We heard that a number of staffers, including investigative reporter Randy Travis and longtime medical reporter Beth Galvin, were offered the chance to walk.

Travis joined the station in 1990, and Galvin has been there since 1996.

Sources at The Firm tell FTVLive that this is another cost-cutting move, and more of the same can be expected.
