CNN Drops to 3rd

While Jeff Zucker is telling The Hollywood Reporter how great CNN is doing in the ratings and how much money they are making (notice he talks little about actual Journalism), the ratings tell a different story. 

On Wednesday night, CNN had a Town Hall with Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham. You may remember seeing the countdown clock for days promoting the show. 

Anyway, despite CNN promoting the hell out of the Town Hall it finished last in the ratings, behind both Fox News and MSNBC. 

MSNBC's two-hour special “The Trump | Putin Power Play” finished #2, beating CNN’s Town Hall and regular programming in both total viewers and among the Adults 25-54 demo audience, according to Nielsen.
 
 Additionally, “11th Hour with Brian Williams” at 11pmET beat CNN Tonight in total viewers and the key 25-54 news demo.
