And the Answer is "A"

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that KFOR was parting ways with former Fox News anchor Marianne Rafferty after just a little over a year on the job.

FTVLive wrote, since the station isn't talking, we only guess that the reason Rafferty is leaving after such a short stint is:  A) She wants to spend more time with her family B) She was terrible at her job or C) She hated working at the station.

Well, we got our hands on an internal email that Rafferty sent her co-workers and it appears the correct answer was "A":

Dear Friends,

I want to let you know that I’m going to make an important announcement on the air tonight.  For some time, my husband and I have been considering a possible move to the west coast to be closer to family.  We love Oklahoma, but it is very difficult to be so far away from relatives, especially while raising a young child.  As so many of you know, there is no replacement for the support, love and stability of family.
So Ian and I thought about it….prayed about it…then decided to go for it!   I’ve been talking with Wes and Natalie about it, and they have been very understanding and supportive. They both have a clear understanding of the importance of family.

With that said, I want you to know that I will miss all of you.  Thanks to everyone who welcomed me to KFOR…and helped me tell great stories.  (Kids With Courage….so inspiring!!!)

Again, I’ll make this announcement during tonight’s newscasts, but I wanted to share it with you first.  I kindly ask that you let me, tell the viewers.  If we can keep this off of social media until then – I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks to all of you!
Marianne
