CNBC Anchor: “We doubted the validity of all that from the get-go"

This is how CNBC screwed the pooch and tried to say they didn't.

As FTVLive told you, CNBC ran a breaking news banner that said that the NFL was saying that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had died.

He had not and is still alive and well.

At 12:40PM CNBC runs the breaking news banner saying that Goodell was dead.

Then at 12:42p they ran a banner saying the tweet was deleted and made no on air mention at all.

At 12:48p: Sue Herera breaks in to say they have confirmation from the NFL that it was a hack and the Commissioner is in fact not dead. But, CNBC never addresses the breaking news banner they ran saying just that.

Following Herera's report, CNBC host Scott Wapner says, “We doubted the validity of all that from the get-go Sue I am glad we got confirmation on that…”

Ummmm....yet you still ran the banner saying that Goodell was dead. Sorry but a wrong banner still counts and CNBC should know that.

Embarrassing.....
