Worst TV Market to Work in - No. 2

FTVLive is spending the day telling you the worst TV markets to work in. It's time to kick off the list with the 2nd worst TV market.

Coming in at No. 2 is St. Louis.

You aren't going to meet me in St. Louis because that market sucks.

St. Louis is a dirty city, with crappy weather and it seems just about everyone smokes.  The weather in the Winter is, snows a couple of inches, then it melts and you have slop and mud everywhere. In the Summer time, is 98 degrees with humidity about 5 million percent. Think Florida without the ocean and sandy beaches.

I don't need to tell you that the racial tension in St. Louis is very high. It's not just in Ferguson that you see the problems.

If you are an outsider in the St. Louis market, you will be looked down upon. People in St. Louis love to ask each other, "What high school did you go to?" As an outsider you will be found out quickly when you are that question.

The news in St. Louis is very stale and watching it you feel like you are tuned into a newscast from the early 80's. It's like the market got caught in a time warp and the newscast never moved on from 1984.

The market is not friendly like you get in a Chicago or Minneapolis. St. Louis feels more like a smaller mean Philly, without the Cheesesteak.

Tune in next hour as we give you the worst of the worst.
