Leaving the Firm

Word is that WFLD's Deuce is leaving the station. 

Jill Manuel, the Assistant News Director under Tom Doerr at the Fox O&O (AKA The Firm) says that she is leaving the station. 

Doerr announced a while back that he was leaving the station this month, he is being replaced by Matt Piacente. 

Now Manuel says she is following Doerr out the door. 

The Firm (AKA Fox) is trying to play it off as a mutual decision, but we all know how that goes. 

This now gives Piacente a chance to bring his own associate into the firm, where you will never hear from that person again.
