Following Dad's Footsteps

WKMG (Orlando) announced that Justin Warmoth is being promoted to morning Anchor starting next week.

It's the same job his dad, Greg Warmoth did across the street at WFTV for 15 years.

Warmoth joined the station 3 years ago as the Brevard County bureau reporter. Last July, he started anchoring weekend morning news. Now he moves to the weekdays.

"In the past three years here at News 6 Justin has worked hard and shown exceptional news judgment," news director Allison McGinley said in a statement. "Having grown up in Central Florida he had a unique ability to connect with people and to share their stories."

Joustin's dad Greg was finally moved up to the 4PM newscast at WFTV. So, Justin knows that it just 15 short years, he can get off the morning shift.

Warmoth replaces David Hall, who has left the station "to pursue other opportunities."

And we all know what that means.
