Former San Diego Anchor to Return to TV News

Lynda Martin, who has worked in SoCal radio and TV for almost 20 years is headed back to the boob tube.

Martin has left radio station KFMB radio and is returning this week to co-anchor with Marc Bailey on XETV's “CW 6 News in the Morning”.

Martin co-anchored the morning news show with Bailey from 2007 to 2011. She also was one of the original anchors for the Channel 6’s 10 p.m. news when it launched in 1999.

“We know that Lynda and Marc have a good chemistry, and the audience is already familiar with both of them,” said Chuck Dunning, Channel 6 station VP and GM.

While in San Diego, Martin also has worked as a TV anchor at KSWB-TV/Channel 5 and radio news anchor at KOGO AM-600. She started her broadcasting career in 1994 in Springfield, MA.
