Tulsa Weather Anchor to Resurface in Nebraska

KTUL (Tulsa) Meteorologist Jennifer Zeppelin is headed to KMTV (Omaha) as both meteorologist and co-anchor of station's 4PM newscast effective Monday, Jan. 11th.

“We are thrilled to add someone with Jennifer’s many years of forecasting to the most experienced weather team in Omaha,” said KMTV News Director, Joe Spadea. “Jennifer’s personable and authentic on-air delivery adds a terrific dynamic to Omaha’s only 4 p.m. news hour.”

“Helping our viewers and their families stay safe and prepared during severe weather is one of KMTV’s most important commitments,” said Chris Sehring, VP & General Manager for KMTV. “Adding one more proven meteorologist to the most experienced weather team in Omaha will help us continue to deliver the most accurate and advanced weather reporting in the region.”

Zeppelin will co-anchor and present the weather with Jennifer Griswold, Monday through Friday. The addition of Zeppelin to the Weather Alert Team brings the total of meteorologists at the station to five – more than any other local station.

Zeppelin comes to KMTV from KTUL in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she was the Chief Meteorologist for the last three years. She also worked at KCNC in Denver, KABB in San Antonio and KTBS in Shreveport, Louisiana.
