When WDSU Investigative Reporter Richard Angelico retired from TV in 2009, he thought he was done making news.
But last night, Angelico was carjacked.
Angelico was uninjured, but now finds himself on the other side of the camera as the subject of a news story.
WDSU is planning reports on Angelico's order at 4,5 and 6PM this evening.
Angelico retired from the station on Oct. 15, 2009, he had been there since 1983. Before that he was a WVUE.
“It’s time for me to go,” he said. “I’m 65 years old. I’ve missed a lot of things in my life (by) not being with my children and my family on special occasions because I was in Guatemala or chasing a hurricane or at a prison riot.
Now the old Reporter seems to have one more story to tell and this time it's about him.
