Let's face it, most local Sports Anchors are scared to death to piss home the home NFL team. Local sports people spend most of the time sucking up to the local NFL team, so they can get access to the team and better food in the press box.
Then there is WFAA's Dale Hanson.
Hanson took the Dallas Cowboys and team owner Jerry Jones to task for signing Greg Hardy. The defensive player that was arrested for assaulting and threatening to kill his girlfriend at the time. Charges were dismissed last month when prosecutors were unable to locate the accuser and she failed to appear in court.
Hanson thinks the cowboys set a very bad example by signing Hardy and he wasn't afraid to say so:
