KFMB in San Diego is reporting that Sports Anchor Kyle Kraska has been shot near his home.
He has been taken to Scripps La Jolla hospital where he is being treated for a gunshot(s) wound.

Updated: The gunfire in the 12000 block of Avonette Court was reported shortly
after 3 p.m., SDPD public-affairs Officer Matt Tortorella said.
A neighbor told San Diego police that someone shot the rear window out
of Kraska's silver Mercedes-Benz, firing as many as 10 shots, then fled in an
older-model white minivan.
Medics took Kraska to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
His condition was not immediately released.
2nd Update: According to an officer that accompanied Kraska to the hospital, he was alert, awake and responsive during transport.
The San Diego Police Department reports that a four-door van fled the scene with suspects inside.
