Fox Business Has Best Month Ever

With a big push from the GOP debate, Fox Business Network had their best month ever in the ratings.

In November Fox Business pulled in 162,000 total viewers and 36,000 in the key 25-54 age demographic, a total day ratings increase of more than 200 percent compared to 2014.

Showing year to year growth for the past six consecutive months, FBN’s Business Day also saw a double digit increase with 96,000 total viewers and 14,000 in the demo for November.

The debate helped FBN finish as the number four rated network in all of cable primetime for the week, a first top five ranking for the channel. Additionally, FBN’s debate helped bolster the network’s Business Day ratings by 24 percent in total viewers and 25 percent in the demo in the following weeks

November also saw some of FBN’s marquee programs earn their highest rated telecasts ever. On November 11th, Mornings with Maria anchored by Maria Bartiromo delivered 271,000 total viewers and 73,000 in the demo for the 6-9AM/ET timeslot, while Neil Cavuto’s Cavuto: Coast to Coast tallied 188,000 total viewers and 32,000 in the demo.

Back on October 29th, FTVLive predicted that Fox Business would beat CNBC for the first time ever in the ratings in November.

That is exactly what happened. FBN topped rival CNBC in the demo, marking FBN’s first Business Day sweep this year.
