Signing Off in Fresno

It looks like Fresno TV station KFSN is losing another one.

The station, which must have installed a revolving door has been bleeding talent lately. The latest to be headed out the door is Reporter Kate Valentine.

The Salt Lake City native is headed to Atlanta because her husband has a new job there. Her last day will be Friday, Dec. 18.

Valentine joined the ABC30 news team in September 2014 as the South Valley reporter. She came to Fresno after stops in Salt Lake City and South Carolina.

Others who have left the local ABC affiliate in recent months include:

▪ Christine Park, a co-anchor of the ABC30 Midday news with Jason Oliveira and the 4 p.m. news with Graciela Moreno, who will be leaving the local ABC station in January. She’s relocating to San Diego to be the new director of communications for Poway Unified School District.

▪ David Lee, director of creative services and public affairs, who leaves in early January to take on a similar position at Houston’s KTRK.

▪ Stephanie Stone, an employee of ABC30 since 2012, who has left the station to move to Southern California with her husband. She worked as a general assignment reporter and weekend anchor.

▪ Shelby Latino, who had been handling weather forecasting duties at ABC30 since May 2014, also has left KFSN. She moved back home to the New Orleans area, where she will marry her fiancé, Kyle.

If you're looking for on air work, have your agent contact KSFN, they seem to have a number of openings.
