Media General Station to Launch 8PM Newscast

News is going prime time in Tampa.

Media General owned WFLA announced that they would start airing an hour long 8PM newscast on sister station WTTA.

 The new newscast begins on January 4 and will be anchored by Jenn Holloway & Josh Benson.

This new newscast on WTTA will be market’s first and only 8 p.m. newscast. Currently, WFLA offers a live 30 minute 7 p.m. newscast on WFLA.
