Fox News Tops Ratings for Paris Attacks

The Paris attacks were big ratings draw for cable news stations.

Not surprisingly, Fox News was the most-watched cable news channel during the Paris terrorist attacks on Friday.

According to Nielsen FNC averaged 3.8 million total viewers during the 4-11PM/ET hours at the height of the breaking news, beating CNN and MSNBC combined in total viewers.

CNN did top FNC in the demo by about 100,000.

From 8-11PM/ET, FNC averaged 4.4 million viewers and 1.2 million in the key A25-54 demo, marking the highest-rated primetime viewership of the year (excluding FNC’s debate on August 6th).
