Brooke Smith was the runner up (first loser) on 2002 season of "The Bachelor."
She then worked at WVTM in Birmingham from 2003 to 2010, starting as a morning traffic reporter and later hosting the daily talk show "Daytime Alabama."
Smith then crossed the street to WIAT to anchor the morning news.
This morning, Smith returns as the morning News Anchor at WVTM.
"I'm delighted to be coming home to Alabama's 13 and to again be working with my friend Ken Lass," Smith said in a PR release from the station.
"Brooke has a decade of experience in the Birmingham TV news market," NBC 13 news director Tim Gardner said in the release. "She is a compelling storyteller and communicator and will complement our morning team of Ken Lass, meteorologist Stephanie Walker and traffic reporter Eunice Elliott."
No word in the release if she ever landed a guy or not.
