Kicked to the Curb in the Big Apple (UPDATED)

The changes continue at struggling WPIX in New York.

3 days ago, FTVLive told you that the station was pulling main Anchor Scott Stanford from his role as News Anchor and moving him to Sports. WPIX then brought back former Anchor John Muller from ABC News to co-anchor the station’s 5 and 10 p.m. newscasts, where he will be reunited with Tamsen Fadal.

After shaking up the night, yesterday the station moved to make changes on the morning show. Insiders tell FTVLive that Morning Anchor Marysol Castro is gone from the station. Her bio has been scrubbed from the station's website.

Castro has not even been at the station for a year. She came to WPIX in September of last year after previously working as a weather anchor for CBS’ “The Early Show” and ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

Castro's Co-Anchor Dan Mannarino also appears to be out. His bio also scrubbed from the station's website.

Word is that Mannarino was on the air this morning, but this is likely his last day doing the morning newscast.

Stay tuned....

UPDATE: Sources tell FTVLive that Mannarino has not left the station. He is off the morning newscast as Anchor, but will retain a role at the station.
