The CNN Chief business correspondent left CNN yesterday and he's headed to Al Jazeera America.

Al Jazeera bought CurrentTV and is getting closer to their launch.

They are starting to pop up on Social Media.

Here is what they wrote on they newly created Tumblr page:

You’ve found us at an exciting time. Right now, we’re hard at work building an American news channel that will launch in the near future.

If you are not familiar with Al Jazeera – one of the world’s largest news-gathering organizations, you can expect the kind of objective, balanced, in-depth reporting on the issues that has won us virtually every major award from the journalism profession.

If you already know Al Jazeera, you’ll be happy to learn that the new Al Jazeera America will deliver same unbiased, hard-hitting reporting about American news and events that you’ve experienced in our award-winning international coverage.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be making announcements about talent, programming and bureau locations across the United States. We’re investing in the highest quality team and news-gathering capabilities in American journalism.
