MSNBC Host: I Don't Know what I'm Doing

MSNBC has a host of one of their shows that admits "I don't know what I'm doing" when it comes to cable news."

The Cable News Channel that likes to hire just about anyone besides a Journalist, has one host coming clean that he has no clue what he's doing on TV.

Lawrence O'Donnell tells Salon that he "desperately" misses show business and that every show he does on MSNBC offends his artistic sensibilities.

Before arriving at MSNBC, O'Donnell was a writer and producer for "The West Wing." And he says he is doing just about anything to keep his acting alive, because he misses it so much. He has a small bit part in the movie "Olympus Has Fallen."

Why did he take the tiny role? "Because I miss show business so desperately that I will do anything short of pornography at this point to hang around sets and have fun," he tells Salon.

Comparing O'Donnell's work in the Movies to what he does of Cable News is "tragic" for him. O'Donnell called the idea of going on television with an unrehearsed first draft, as he does weekday nights on MSNBC, "horrendous."

Maybe MSNBC should hire people that KNOW what their doing and WANT to be there. You know....Like a Journalist maybe.

Just saying...
