Buffalo Anchor Reaches Milestone

It's not often that an Anchor stays in a market for 30 years, it's even less rare that they stay at the same station for that long.

On October 3, 1983, Jacquie Walker started at WIVB in Buffalo as an anchor on the station's Noon show.

30 years later, Walker is still sitting in the anchor chair. She now anchors the 5-6 and 11PM newscast for the station.

We're not that big on anniversaries, but 30 years at the same station is pretty darn impressive.

The furthest we ever made it was 4 years.
