From the Sunshine State to the Valley of the Sun (Updated)

WINK (Ft. Myers) Reporter Nicole Valdes is making a big market jump, but she's not leaving the sunshine. 

Valdes is leaving Southwest Florida and headed to Phoenix. 

She has landed a job at Scripps owned KNXV after 3 years at WINK. 

She joined WINK fresh out of the University of Florida and in just 3 years has already worked her way into a top market. 

Congrats to her for chasing the dream. 

Update: Valdes' Agent Jeff Marcu at OTA confirms to FTVLive that she starts her new gig at KNXV on August 27.
