In the cable business news, Fox Business Network continues to sweep CNBC under the rug.
FBN was once again number 1 in total viewers across Business Day and Total Day.
As for CNBC, the network recorded four year lows in the demo thanks to the false starts of primetime premieres of Jay Leno's Garage and Staten Island Hustle. The latter is their new original program and the premiere failed to get as many eyeballs as ad dollars spent - barely breaking 100,000 total viewers despite a full page USA Today ad and billboard on the West Side Highway touting the debut.
Even the network's carriage of the NHL playoffs failed to boost their ratings.
There was a time when CNBC laughed at start up Fox Business.
We're guessing that they aren't laughing anymore.
