Scripps Race Discrimination Trial is Delayed

Back in January of 2017, FTVLive told you that Lisa Benson a Reporter with KSHB (Kansas City) had filed a race discrimination against the Scripps station.
In her lawsuit, Benson alleges that since she was hired as a general assignment reporter in 2004, she has applied for “numerous” promotions without success.
“The positions are consistently rewarded to white employees with far less experience than plaintiff,” the suit alleges.
The trail was supposed to start in Federal court next week, but now has been pushed back to August.
