FCC Hits Pause Button in Sinclair/Tribune Deal

The FCC has once again stopped the clock on the Sinclair/Tribune deal as it takes a look at what FTVLive FIRST told you would be happening.

FTVLive broke the news back in November that Sinclair was looking at selling off some of their stations to Fox Television.

The FCC says that they are not going to look at evaluating Sinclair’s offer of divestitures, and that has now paused its informal 180-day transaction clock.

The Sinclair/Tribune deal is all but done and rubberstamped by Trump's FCC.

But they still have to make it look good.
