So Where is CNN's Scoops?

It seems not a day goes by without the Washington Post or the NY Times coming up with a major scoop out of the Trump White House.

But, where the hell is CNN?

As Trump was being sworn in back in January, CNN was bragging about how the network was beefing up their Investigative Reporting team to track Trump and break stories.

"CNN needs to be an organization that breaks news, not just an organization that covers breaking news or talks about breaking news on television," Andrew Morse said CNN Executive Vice President back in January. "There's no better way to do that than to invest in investigative reporting."

So......Where's the Beef?

CNN hasn't come close to the newspapers when it comes to breaking news out of the White House.

Of course, CNN has broken some big news on Trump. Check out this headline from 5 days ago, that appeared on CNN's website:

Well....I guess you can consider that a scoop (see what I did there?).

CNN bragged about hiring investigative reporters Carl Bernstein and James Steele, both Pulitzer Prize winners, to serve as contributing editors to advise the CNN investigative team on their work.

Bernstein seems to spend more time on the ironically named CNN show "Reliable Sources" giving his opinion, then breaking stories.

The newspapers which are part of a dying industry are doing the heavy lifting when it comes to holding the White House accountable. CNN is more about just licking up the story that the newspapers are spitting out.

As for Fox News, their Reporters are also not digging up any scoops (other than ice cream).

Also, it is odd to watch the Fox News Reporters cover the Times or Post's stories and then have Hannity and Tucker Carlson come on later to say it's all "bullshit".

While Fox News is carrying the flag for Donald Trump, CNN seems more interested in facetime than facts.

Their beefed up investigative reporting team has been nothing short of spoiled meat.
