Scripps' WTMJ is hosting a happy hour at a bar near the station as a "wrap up" of the company wide "lead on" leadership building campaign.
The campaign was to help turn employees into future leaders at the company or beyond.
The happy hour starts at 5PM, a convenient time for sales and management employees but we're guessing that the people in the news department might be a bit busy at that time.
This "party" is wrapping up 8 workshops held at the station....only one was held after 2PM.
It's almost like the people that run these stations don't realize that most people in TV news don't work 9-5 and are still working long after managers go home.
Guess Scripps isn't too excited about making the people in it's news departments "future leaders".
