Getting out of the Business

A Hartford Reporter has left the station and TV news.

New England One reports that WTIC (Hartford) Reporter Erin Logan has left the station.

Logan has also left TV news, and will be working in sales part-time for her brother's company while she finishes a book.

The book she is writing is about lessons learned while traveling the country as a journalist, overcoming obstacles, and learning to accept who you are and embracing it.

She also has a jewlery line she has been working on, "Lure by Logan."

Prior to joining FOX 61 in December 2015, Logan was the weekend evening anchor, general assignment reporter and a member of the News 8 Investigators team at WTNH ABC 8 in New Haven. She joined WTNH in September 2011 as a reporter, and was promoted to her most recent position in January 2013.

Before WTNH, Logan was a reporter at WLNE-TV ABC 6 in Providence, RI. She has also worked as an anchor at WNDU-TV in South Bend, IN; and as a reporter at WOFL-TV in Orlando, FL; and as a freelance reporter at both WHDH-TV in Boston and WJAR-TV in Providence.
