An Orlando Reporter is packing up her stuff and leaving the station and the TV business altogether.
WKMG Reporter Erkya Washington is signing off at the end of the week to become the PIO for Aramis Ayala.
Ayla the newly elected state attorney for Orange and Osceola counties.
"For the last three years, WKMG has provided me with the wonderful opportunity to help viewers in need Get Results," Washington said by email, using the station's familiar slogan. "I am incredibly proud of the support and relief we were able to give so many viewers. More importantly, I am honored to have been a part of the team that helped News 6 become one of Central Florida's most-watched news programs."
Sounds like someone is leaving the door open for a return.
