As Hearst Expands Corporate, Cuts Go Down

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Hearst Television was adding more layers to their corporate structure. You know, because you can just never not have enough bosses. 

While Hearst was adding more suits, FTVLive was getting word that the company is making cuts at their stations. 

Sources tell us that a number of Hearst stations had 2-4 full-time digital people, but have cut that number down to 1 for the new year. They also are cutting their "hub service" that posted content for stations on the weekend. 

So while the company is fatting up the corporate offices, the little people are getting pushed out.
