Demoted in Hartford

Sources tell FTVLive that WVIT Morning Anchor Todd Piro (pictured) is being demoted from his Weekday Morning Anchor gig.
Piro is being replaced by Ted Koppy, who was recently hired from News 12 Connecticut. Koppy starts on Election Day and Piro will be pushed to Weekend Morning Anchor and Reporter the other three days.
Piro came to the station in 2012 from the Palm Springs market.
